Roof valley (pressed cross)

Use

Roof valleys are used for rainwater drainage from angular connection of two roof slopes. The contact of roof valley with roof covering should be sealed with wedge or rectangular gasket, or  expanding tape.

Materials

Roof valleys pressed along or across are made of sheet metal or aluminium tape.

Properties

Roof valleys are resistant to long-lasting exposure of weather factors such as UV radiation, frost, rain, moisture and ageing processes, and also easy to install. Their profile slows down water on the roofs with high angle. Valley pressing provides stability and eliminates the need of boards under the valley.
