Chimney lath

Use

Used as a protection for chimney tape.

Materials

Aluminium sheet of 0.5mm thickness covered with polyester paint. The varnished coating is additionally protected by polypropylene film, which is removed during installation.

Properties

Laths are mechanically mounted to the chimney, in a manner to provide leak tightness during rain or snow between the joint of chimney tape and the chimney (tape). After installation it is recommended to seal the joint between the lath and the chimney (wall) by taking advantage of a specialist roof sealant.
